Well, well well, two weeks to go until we have our official summer holidays. You will have all received your transition letter about which class your child will be in from September. From Monday, please go on to the website to read our transition booklets and watch the introduction videos from the staff. This should help any child who is unsure about coming back and feeling a little nervous. They will remain on our website all through the summer so they can keep looking at them and watching them to help them feel more confident.

As you can imagine, we are all ever so excited to be able to open our doors to all of our pupils in September (hopefully). We are now beginning to make the plans, create the risk assessments and ensure the school will be ready for all pupils. Once these plans are finalised we will communicate all information to you. Under the guidance it is still looking like there will be:
- Separate class bubbles.
- Staggered start times, play times, lunch times and home times.
- Regular respiratory and hand hygiene procedures.
- Adults wearing PPE.
-Western Terrace probably still closed
-Car park closed for certain times.
- No parent workshops, large gatherings on site
- No parents in school.
- 2M distancing on collection and drop offs for parent/carers.

and lots more differences.

Our annual reports are to be emailed out to you next week. These will be sent across the week in classes and year groups. You will receive a text on the day to inform you that the report is about to be emailed. We want to thank you for your continual support with these. We would appreciate any comments you wish like to make regarding your child's report through an email,  Class Dojo or seesaw instead of the comment sheet we sent out and as an acknowledgement of receipt of the report. As you will be able to see from the reports,  we have had to change the format for Years 1- Year 6 due to not having been taught the whole curriculum.

It just leaves me to say please continue to encourage the children to complete the learning tasks throughout the next two week. Next week would have been transition week and the tasks have been set and will be seen by their new teacher in order to begin to build up relationships. Any work sent through Class Dojo will also be shared with the new teacher during our transition meets which are also taking place between this year and next year staff so please do not worry if you are not on Seesaw.

Thank you ever so much for all that you are doing, all your kindness and support and more importantly patience during these times. However, we all have everything crossed for a fabulous start to September and absolutely cannot wait until we are all together. We have already started counting down the days, so please remain calm, stay safe, and continue working so you are ready for school to fully reopen!

School will be in contact with you as soon as we have more information, plans and information that will support yourselves and the children upon their return.

Have a great weekend,

Miss Smith
