This week we have been extremely busy with our Parent Pupil Mentoring. It has been wonderful to see so many parents and pupils leaving school who have had such a positive conversation and their progress and their attitudes to learning! Thank you to all those parents who have been and we are really looking forward to seeing all those who are still yet to have their meeting.
World Book Day has been rearranged and is now going to take place on Friday 9th March. An email and school gateway message has been sent to confirm this also.
The children are welcome to come dressed up as their favourite book character and bring their book to school. As well as having both KS1 and 2 parades, the children will take part in shared reading with a different class and parents are invited to come into school at the end of the day, 2.45 p.m. to read with their children. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to speak to your child's class teacher. Unfortunately the Year 1 Class Assembly due to take place this Wednesday 7th March has had to be cancelled due to the snow days last week and the lack of practise time. We have rearranged this to take place on Wednesday 11th April at 9.15 a.m.
We apologise for any inconvenience. Due to the school closure and adverse weather conditions, the school book fair has been postponed. We are awaiting confirmation of a further date when it is available and will confirm to you all when we have this.
Thank you for your understanding. |
