Our incredible Foundation Stage 2 have completed a sponsored shuttle run this week. They were timed for a minute by our older children and had to keep running to see how many runs they made. They were all very focused and apparently we have some top athletes on the way! Well done to all involved, all who supported the event and contributed!

Our Y5/6s came runners up in the Sports Hall Athletics competition competed by 8 schools. We achieved numerous high scores and broke lots of school records in various events. Overall the children were amazing and they all supported and cheered each other on. When children were having a sticky patch they were quickly picked up by others and showed excellent resilience.
Key Stage One have had a visitor in school to support their learning of Islam. They all had opportunity to listen to their knowledge and gathered lots of information of a different religion.
Year 4 have been learning about Sikhism and have had a visitor in school who shared his knowledge of their religion, beliefs and ways of life. The children got to ask questions, experience Sikhism as well as deepen their understanding with an expert. Choir concert – What a truly beautiful and amazing concert High View Choir presented. Their singing was so beautiful and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you to all who had the same privilege, as ourselves in listening to them all.
As part of Safer Internet Day, school have been looking at how we keep ourselves safe on line, on phones, how to keep our accounts private. Children have also presented their work in assembly to share their safety messages to their peers. Well done to all who have demonstrated what they now have learnt and we are confident they will remain safe on line if they follow advice.
