Geography

The Geography Curriculum within High View.

Children at High View enjoy learning geography through different topics which help them to know about where they live and the wider world.

Humanities is taught through topic work and also through literacy. Children learn subject specific vocabulary related to physical and human geography and a wide variety of historical terms.  Children are given opportunities to learn in practical ways either through handling maps, photographs or artefacts or a visit to a place or museum.

Here are some photographs showing history and geography in action!
