At High View, we aim to equip all pupils with the skills and confidence to solve a range of problems through fluency with numbers and mathematical reasoning
We are all mathematicians! As it plays such an important part in all our lives, mathematics is highly regarded here at High View. Throughout life we use different mathematical skills such as time-keeping, shopping, measuring and playing sports to name but a few. Having a solid understanding of mathematical concepts and skills will equip our children for later life. We worked hard to achieve the Quality Mark at High View and this highlights the importance we place on ensuring our children know the basics and have a firm foundation and sound mathematical knowledge on which to build and progress.
