Exclusions
High View Primary Learning Centre is an inclusive school. We cater for all of the needs of the children within our care and support their families too. We believe that this supports and contributes to all pupils reaching their true potential. However, on occasions, we do need to address any significant dangerous behaviours in school, which may result in children being excluded from school. We would only ever do this as a last resort.

The purpose of the Code of Conduct is to ensure that Penalty Notices are applied consistently and fairly across Barnsley and that arrangements for their issue and administration are suitable.

Assessment
Schools within the Every Child Matters Academy Trust hold children at the heart of all that we do. We aim to provide EVERY CHILD with early help and support to remove barriers to learning, and an education that raises aspiration, resulting in excellence and enjoyment. This will enable all children to fulfil their potential and maximise their life chances. It is through monitoring, assessment and record keeping within our school that individual progress is tracked and children’s learning needs are met to enable all children to achieve their highest potential.
