Foundation Stage 2
We are always very busy in FS2! We want our children to have fun whilst also becoming independent learners. Our staff aim to ensure children develop a sound understanding of our school Golden Rules and learn how to form positive relationships with adults and peers. We spend a lot of time settling children in and enabling them to become confident with our routines. We have lots of engaging topics including the emergency service, transport, animals, seasons and much more! We enjoy lots of creative activities (including lots of messy activities!) and outdoor play to enable children to develop a wide range of skills.
As part of our topic work we will be visiting the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Wombwell Methodist Church and Wombwell library. We also arrange for many interesting visitors to work with us in school.
Our overall aim is for our children to develop a love of learning, make outstanding progress and enjoy school.
