This week in the build up to Remembrance Day, we have been looking at what contributions we can make positively to the world similar to the soldiers that risked their lives for the world. We discussed and thought about our aspirations and that anybody can make a difference so long as we work hard and preserve positively. Can you think of ways as a family you can make a contribution to the world? Who deserves a medal in your opinion? We also looked at the people we feel who deserves a medal and why.
Who would you give a medal to and why? Year 2 had completed their Family Fun Session also creating poppies as part of their topic and Remembrance Day. These look amazing and such a worthy cause. Thank you for all the adults who came and supported the morning.
Year 1 have hosted their Family Fun Session building The Three Little Pigs homes. These look like they could tackle a wolf and the wind! Well done to everybody who attended and got their hands dirty and rather sticky!
Year 5 have had their Parent Family Fun Session this week based on their topic of World War Two and Remembrance Day. Thank you to all the parents came to support the school and the pupils completing such a poignant task.
We are really excited to be able to advertise our Anti-Bullying Week Showcase for 2018! On Friday 16th November parents and carers are invited to come and see a selection of work on Anti-Bullying produced by each year group. The children's work will be on display in the hall from 2.45pm until 3.30pm! We look forward to seeing you!
