Year 2 have been to Eureka as part of their topic research. They had a hands on experience and had a day full of learning and excitement.
Year 2 have had Wigfield Farm come into school for a on exciting experience. The children, on Tuesday, had a hands on experience looking and touching various different animals, e.g. snakes, tarantula, snake skin and tarantula skin. They had a wonderful time and from the photos were very brave! Year 4 held their first parent workshop, thank you to those that came and supported in the creative mosaics created. They look fantastic! The children were following their plan and working together to create their mosaic. They look amazing!
Harvest Assembly Wednesday took place with our Year 3 and Year 5 presenting their interpretation of the importance of food. They did an amazing job, singing, reading aloud, showing off their incredible work and reminding us all how important it is to be kind and helpful towards others. Thank you all so much who have brought in food for the food bank.
Each morning we offer " Morning Move It" for KS2 children. This begins at 8.30 a.m. until 8.50 a.m. If the day is dry, this takes place in the courts however if the weather isn't so good we hold this in the school hall. Lots of activities are on offer for the children, so please encourage them to come along :-) |
