Our Year 6 pupils have been learning about debate and creating arguments based on current affairs. They have been learning about Brexit, Parliament and how the government runs. Stephanie Peacock came into school to meet the children and answer their questions.
What questions would you have wanted to ask her? For a trial basis, from 8.30am - 8.50am 'grab and go' bagels will be available for breakfast on the back playground under the shelter outside Year 2. School have acquired funding to ensure children have access to breakfast. As part of safeguarding, KS2 children will be able to have their bagel and remain on the playground. KS1 children who want to have bagels will still need to be accompanied by an adult. Year 6 have had their boat sinking-tastic Family Fun Session. They explored their science topic and created boats to see if they floated or sank. Thank you as always to those that attended and experienced it first-hand.
The total raised for Comic Relief was £985.72!!!!
WOW! An enormous thank you! |
