.We are very concerned by stories coming into school about a current hacking "game" called Momo.
It targets children on social media and encourages them to do "challenges" which are extremely dangerous. It also sends them violent images and dares. If you want further information on this, I recommend you google it, as I cannot share quite how horrific it is on this platform. In order to keep your child(ren) safe from this, the police are giving the following advice: - Ensure you know what your children can access online (and supervise their online usage whenever possible). - Ensure your children understand the importance of not giving personal information to anyone they do not know. - Tell your children that no-one has the right to make them do anything they do not want to. - Use parental controls on devices with internet access. I also recommend that you talk to your child about Momo and what to do if they come across it. If you have any concerns about this at all, please don't hesitate to contact Mrs Mundy at school for support in online safety. Comments are closed.
