Keeping our children safe is always our priority so it was a privilege to welcome the Fire Service to come into school and talk to our pupils safe. They listened, asked questions and were able to explain how we keep ourselves safe. Thank you to the Fire Service for coming and teaching our pupils!

Thank you to all the adults who came and supported our Year 3 in creating cave paintings. It looks like a lot of detail was put into the designs and it will make amazing backdrop to a display!
Our Year 1 children have been exploring our local community and environment with a autumn walk to the woods. They got to investigate signs of autumn, recognise types of trees, looking for fruits for the harvest. They had an amazing investigation and found lots of information out.
There is no such thing as bad weather when you have the correct clothing! The children practised butting on their wellies, using an umbrella and explore the puddles and the effect the rain has on our environment! What fun it is to be exploring in the rain.
As part of their welcome to High View, our Foundation Children receive their own books to continue their journey for love of reading and wow were they excited!
