The DT and creativity of the houses built were truly amazing! Thank you to all who came and supported the pupils in making them masterpieces.
How much learning have year 4 done? It was clear to see that they have thoroughly enjoyed their topic on Romans. They met a Roman and even battled like a Roman. The children had completed learning around history, into their writing into their science work. Thank you to all who could attend.
Our Year 3 children had the experience of exploring the wonder lab. It was about light and some sounds as part of their science learning. They got to complete a workshop which was hands on and experimental, and then had time to explore the whole museum. As always they had a rewarding and knowledge building trip and represented school impeccably.
. The children have begun to look in detail at how changes can be made, acts of kindness make a big difference and being reminded of how important respecting others is to make a happy and safe world. The work is to continue into next week where we will showcase our learning next Friday.
As part of their topic our Year 6 pupils have been having hands on experience of how Vikings lived, the tools they used and the influence they have on our lives today. It was a truly insightful and exciting day for all.
