Winter Weather

In Foundation Stage we learn about the changing seasons and how these changes affect us. We have certainly had lots to talk about this week!

The children have investigated what happens to ice in different situations. They collected it from around our playground, held it in their hands, put it in trays or sometimes brought it inside. Some of the simplest activities can create the most interesting discussions! We  have made footprints in the snow and piled the snow together, it wasn't the right consistency or amount to make snowmen but we did try.

On Friday the children were photographers and took their own photos so that we will remember the winter weather.
