We had been looking forward to our party all week. The buns were made (by the children), the list of games written and the 'pass the parcels' wrapped. The children had lots of fun and so did the adults!

We were very pleased with how the children sang and spoke out loudly in our concert. Thank you to everyone who came to watch. We have recorded some clips of the rehearsal for anyone who wasn't able to come. We hope you enjoy watching them. The children were so surprised to see who was sat in our library area this morning! We were super proud of them all because Santa commented on their beautiful manners. Year 6 and FS2 have had a wonderful afternoon walking to Wombwell Library together. The Year 6 children acted like role models walking with a partner from foundation and making new friends. At the library, we listened to The Night Before Christmas and learnt about how the library works. Year 6 then read stories to the foundation children and shared that special time together. Any child that has a library card borrowed a book to take home. A wonderful time was had by all! We can't wait to do it again in the spring. |
