Library Visit

Year 6 and FS2 have had a wonderful afternoon walking to Wombwell Library together. The Year 6 children acted like role models walking with a partner from foundation and making new friends. 

At the library, we listened to The Night Before Christmas and learnt about how the library works. Year 6 then read stories to the foundation children and shared that special time together. Any child that has a library card borrowed a book to take home. A wonderful time was had by all! 

We can't wait to do it again in the spring. ​
