Thomas the tortoise

Thomas came to visit FS for the whole morning. He seemed very happy in our classroom and wanted to explore. He was a much faster mover that the children expected and surprised us all by climbing straight out of the tuff spot. We found out about his favourite foods, where he lives and even about his holidays to the seaside! Thomas is at least 35 years old but the children were fascinated to learn that we don't know exactly how old he is, just that  he has lived with his current family for 35 years.
