National Hat Day!

In Foundation Stage we love an excuse to dress up, so this was just our kind of thing! We discussed why hats are worn and came up with many different reasons. Some are worn for ceremonial, fashion or fancy dress purposes. Others are worn to protect us from sun, rain or very cold weather. We decided that hats are a very important article of clothing and we enjoyed celebrating this by wearing our favourite hat proudly to school. We also enjoyed the special dinner, it was a very memorable day.
