A surprise visitor!

The children were busy outside when we spotted a frog near the see-saw! We quickly moved the seesaw to protect him, then watched him jumping around. When it was time to go indoors the children were concerned that he might get injured if we left him, so we gently caught him in a box and took him to the pond. Later that day we visited the pond to see if we could find him. He was nowhere to be found but we did spot lots of frogspawn. We will keep visiting the pond and see if we can spot any more frogs. It was a total change to our plan for the day but very exciting!
