This weeks Golden Rule is Listen to People.
Lewis D – for always listening in learning and acting on any advice and feedback. Your work is always presented beautifully and you are actively engaged in lessons. Scarlett Sh – for always listening, always trying her best and always being an always child. Just a superb attitude in every sense. After completing Holes, we thought we would see if our cast lists were close and watch the film. Whilst watching, we enjoyed our own versions of onions and sploosh!
Before watching the film Holes, we worked on deciding our own cast list by finding actors we thought would represent the characters from the book. We then compared them to the cast of Holes, many of whom we believed were misrepresented!
After enjoying Holes so much, this lucky pupil's mum has bought her the sequel! We cannot wait to hear if she enjoys it!!
•Megan T – always giving 100%, joining in all lessons, formulating opinions and happy to discuss them Showing a definite mature attitude for Year 6. Brilliant.
•Scarlett S – working hard and starting to come out of her shell. I think she may even be enjoying herself. Keep smiling and working hard Scarlett. •Corey K – a superb hard worker who always ensures he is ready to learn. •Georgie J- always listening and actively engaged during guided reading sessions. One of the first to offer opinions about what he has read. After thoroughly enjoying Holes, we have written a review to be posted on Amazon.
