This half term our topic is 'Inspirational People; Aspirational us'. We are starting by looking at the life of Charles Darwin and the Theory of Evolution. In Science, we have looked at the evolution of man. We had to order them in the order we thought it happened and what we thought they were called. We used our vocabulary knowledge to help us. Such as Primates - we put that with the one that looked most like an ape and Erectus we put with a figure that was standing.
It was really interesting. We look forward to learning more about Charles Darwin and his work.
We have asked questions we would like to find out such as:
What inspired you?
What were you looking for on your voyage?
How long did it take you to come up with the theory?
How did the theory of evolution change your life?
Through this topic we will be studying:
ICT - coding (showing part the voyage electronically)
Geography - biomes, climate, mapwork
Science - Evolution
Literacy - biographies, diary entries
Numeracy - coordinates
Art - sketching/sculpting
Look out for future blog posts of all our amazing work yet to come.
