Well, I have to say it has been a funny week. I know, just as many of you are, Mrs Mundy and I are finding it a little strange to adjust to this new way of working. I'm glad that the sunshine showed up and hope that many of you managed to enjoy it.
Firstly, can I say a huge thank you for how amazing you were in the run up to the temporary closure. You made getting things ready and organised so much easier.
Next, I want to say a huge well done for tackling the tasks we have set you so far! It is lovely that we are both starting to get pictures of you at work in your new 'classrooms'. You are showing us how resilient you can be and that you take everything in your stride.
This blog is going to be used to help us all keep in touch and catch up with what each other has been doing. We will update it weekly and share new posts on Class Dojo. It will also continue to be an area of celebration for your hard work, effort and achievement. We need you to remember just how amazing you are so please keep sharing your work and achievements so we can share them!
To those of you who are still in school - I am going to try and get pictures through the week of what you've been up to too.
Please see a snippet of what Year 5 got up to in the first week learning at home. Remember, to keep it up but also use some of the time to explore new things and time for you as well!
Miss you all and can't wait to see all your faces as soon as possible. Take care, look after yourselves and each other and remember to listen to your adults.
