On our journey back 2.5 million years to the Stone Age, we became hunter-gatherers, collecting fresh fruits and berries and hunting wild animals that we came across. After gathering in all of our fresh ingredients, we decided to test out our Stone Age culinary skills, by following a recipe to cook Stone Age stewed fruit! Apples, pears and blackberries were all chopped, mixed with honey, and cooked into a tasty fruit stew. All children then got the chance to taste their fruity creation to boost their energy levels back up after a long day hunting and cooking! As the photos suggest, it was a massive hit (with most)!
