This week it has been Anti-Bullying Week and we have spent some time discussing what this is and what it means to us.
We have talked about what bullying is and what to do if we feel like we are being bullied such as telling a friend or asking a teacher for help. We had a circle time talking about what makes a 'good friend'. We made bricks with sentences about a 'good friend' to build a friendship wall.
The main theme we looked at was being unique. We shared ideas about things that make us special and unique - we learnt that it is OK to be different because we all are!
To celebrate our individuality we all made a link that would become part of a paper chain. We designed it so it was special to us, including different things we like and enjoy. After we made our own, we teamed up with a partner and found out more about what made them special - we then made a link just for them! After all our links were made, we put them together to show that although we are all different and unique we all make one big team!
