Team Activ have been in school to hand out a Gold Award to school for our participation in sport. Well done to all at High View, who are so active in PE lessons, taking part in clubs/competitions and representing school with perfect sportsmanship. Well done to you all and Mr Calvert who organises all of these fantastic opportunities to stay fit and healthy as well as trying out new sports.
The children had the opportunity to have their Christmas dinner/packed lunch today and wore their Christmas jumpers. They all looked very festive and enjoyed the festive singing and joke telling throughout their lunch. Thank you for your continuing support.
As there is snow forecast over the weekend, below is a reminder of where to find information about potential school closures (if the weather is severe). We will also try to keep you up to date via the website and Class Dojo.
Thank you to all who supported our Christmas Market, it was wonderful to see you all supporting school, the Parent Group and your children. Hope you got some lovely gifts for Christmas. The Christmas Market Profit raised so far is £245.
Year 4 presented their assembly to parents all about their work which was linked to the text, The Firework Maker's Daughter. They even made the parents complete a quiz at the end! It was an amazing assembly where the pupils performed really well. Well done.
