This week it was Year 6's turn to choose two superstar writers to be celebrated in assembly.
Isabel was chosen for her wonderful diary entry. Written from the view point of Charles Darwin from his voyage on the HMS Beagle, she had included not only his thoughts and feelings but the scientific vocabulary we have learnt whilst studying evolution. Maeve was chosen for her non-chronological report on the Choggler, a made up mammal. From er writing you could not tell that the Choggler was not a real creature. She had included such specific detail that you would not be surprised if you came across them on the beaches in Greece! Fantastic girls - keep up the wonderful writing! |
Year 6 BlogThis year’s team consists of Mrs Darrington, Mrs Hawkins, Mrs Clarke, Mrs M Smith, Mrs Bailey, Mrs Stanley and Miss Stenton. |
