•Megan T – always giving 100%, joining in all lessons, formulating opinions and happy to discuss them Showing a definite mature attitude for Year 6. Brilliant.
•Scarlett S – working hard and starting to come out of her shell. I think she may even be enjoying herself. Keep smiling and working hard Scarlett.
•Corey K – a superb hard worker who always ensures he is ready to learn.
•Georgie J- always listening and actively engaged during guided reading sessions. One of the first to offer opinions about what he has read.

This weeks Golden Rule is Be Kind and Helpful.
Landen – extremely supportive and encouraging of all his peers. Is an amazing role model in how he tackles work. Thinks about others and makes sure all are included. Just an always child!
6RD for their ability to act amazingly during an incident, for showing kindness, compassion for their peer and doing everything asked when necessary
•Miley Jay – for showing 100% in all areas. Working well with a clear Year 6 attitude and an absolute pleasure to have in class.
•Troy – showing the utmost resilience and always trying his best. For always completing tasks and doing extra (never wasting learning opportunities).
•Jayden – for his effort, concentration and resilience during art this week. For also really trying to stay focused on his learning and pushing himself throughout the day.
•Miley – her amazing effort and determination in her learning, especially in her guided reading tasks. She joins in during all group discussions and offers insightful opinions.
This weeks Golden Rule was Look After Property.
She is an always child who has the same pride and achievement in her work at home as she does school. She independently organised herself and has managed not to misplace anything from her drawer!
He looks after all his belongings, is always prepared and helps in any way he can.
•Emre – for showing a competitive attitude in his learning in school, always ready to contribute and reflecting this by being chosen to play for the Under 12 football team out of school.
•Dexter – for showing a love of learning. Really pushing himself in all lessons and completing tasks to the best of his ability. He is incredibly involved in learning and doesn’t mind admitting if he’s made a mistake. Fantastic resilience; a joy to have in the classroom.
•Taylor for his brilliant attitude since starting Year 6. He has focussed on his learning, actively engaged throughout the day and acting quickly on feedback. Showing a real Year 6 attitude.
•Lily – for showing the same determination outside of school and managing to achieve her purple belt in kick boxing!

This epic battle of boys vs girls was a close one indeed. However, the boys stormed into victory with a last minute surge earning them over 20,000 points.
