We have continued to focus our learning this week on 'Ruby's Worry' by Tom Percival.
We have analysed parts of the text for guided reading and then had a go at writing our own version of the story using our own character and worry monster. We have really enjoyed this book and I think it has helped us realise that sharing worries with someone or something (a pet or a worry box) can help shrink them!

Our text focus this week is 'Ruby's Worry' by Tom Percival.
This uplifting story inspires us to talk about our feelings and share any worries we may have. Ruby discovers talking about her worry makes it shrink and go away. As part of our work, we have been designing our own worry boxes and thinking about what our own 'worry' might look like. Take a look at our work so far... We have really enjoyed doing the work from our new text: My Many Coloured Days by Dr Seuss. It has inspired our creative writing, animal research and even designing our own logos. It has certainly been a COLOURFUL week in Year 4. We would like to present a selection of this week's creativity and research. Can you spot your work?
