What a wet and horrible week it has been for the weather! On the plus side, what a great week on our Seesaw. Again I am so proud of all the work you are producing although there are a few of you, who I would love to hear from, whether this be on Seesaw or Dojo, as I know lots of you are learning at home using packs I have made for you or evens books your families have got for you. You are all fabulous, keep working hard. Special Mentions this week; 2SO Grace W consistently working hard on Seesaw and at home. Freddy-James great effort in his home learning tasks. 2IC Benjamin - fantastic work produced on Seesaw all the time. Tillie-Jo - great home learning activities produced. However a huge well done to you all! I have now caught up on all owed dojos and added some extra as a treat to say well done :-). As we enter week 3 of our Summer term, I wanted to say again how much I miss you all. I have received some lovely cards and letters from you and it really does make me smile. I cannot wait to see you all. Next week we have a new story of the week which will be uploaded on Monday for you. As well as this, each day I will upload 4/5 activities - 3 of which will be RWI, Literacy and Maths. You can use Purple Mash and TTR whenever you want to, remember Purple Mash has so many things on there. I know some of you feel a little overwhelmed when there are too many activities sat in the box, so the new ones appear each day but they will not be archived (removed for at least 7 days), this allows time for others to do them if they haven't been on. I have picked out some lovely pictures from this week for you to enjoy just like I did, as well as a video that really did make me laugh when you listen to the poem being read. Well done all of you. See you soon x

Wow, what a week! It's so lovely to see lots of you posting your work on Seesaw and completing the activities. I love seeing what you all get up to, listening to your voices, seeing your smiling faces and reading your fantastic activities you submit. So thank you to each and everyone of you! I know lots of you are also working at home with packs I have provided or books parents have bought and again this is fabulous. I am so proud of every member of my Year 2 family and I cannot wait until we are all back together.
I have attached some photos of some work so you can have a look and be proud of yourselves. Special Mentions; Elsie and Elise - superstars singing in the Young Voices International Choir. Wow - you were amazing. This song means so much to school, the words are so powerful. Well done. Abbie and Charlie - excellent attitudes to their home learning, submitting great pieces and showing great pride. Well done you two. What next? The news is changing every day and I honestly don't know what will happen next or when we will be back together. I am back in school now with a bubble of children BUT I do miss you all lots. Mrs Lumb, Miss S Smith and Miss Wordsworth are checking on your Seesaw throughout the day and I am checking in along with Mrs Harding when we can and this will continue next week. Keep working hard, enjoy making memories and stay safe. xxx |
