To celebrate the theme of Children in Need - spotty, we decided to make some spotty designs on our biscuits. As we have been learning about number bonds in maths, we linked this together so we made number bonds on our biscuits. Everyone made different pairs of numbers, we had great fun. Look at our pictures!

This week the whole school has taken part in Anti-bullying Week with a theme of "All Different, All Equal". We started the week not only wearing odd socks to show how we can all be different, but also with the entire school gathering in the school playground for us all to take part in "Stamping out Bullying".
The children have talked about what bullying is, what it means and how it can make children feel. We had Circle times to discuss what makes a good friend and what to do if they feel someone is being unkind. The children all know that at High View, we follow our golden rules and all friends together. We chose a friend within class and then designed a friendship biscuit for them, before exchanging these at the end of the week. We had lots of fun :-). |
