Today some of our parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles and wider family joined us to take part in our Rocket Workshop. As part of our Topic on Space and learning all about Neil Armstrong, we decided it would be fantastic to test out our DT and Art skills and make rockets.
WOW...what creative children and adults we have! The workshop was a huge success and the work created was fabulous to put on display in our corridors. The children showed us how great they were at choosing materials, cutting, sticking and putting together different materials to make such great rockets.
We decided to keep the majority of these in school to allow us to link them to literacy and use them alongside our imaginations to write some fantastic stories. Watch this space for some of our work around school and on here.
