Some of our Y1's working hard together to represent numbers in different ways, while practicing counting forwards and backwards. Well done!

It's always lovely to see our Y1's enjoying reading with their grown up and brothers/sisters on a morning... great start to the day! Our Y1's worked incredibly with their grown up this week to make bespoke weather mobiles. We couldn't be more proud of how they got on to make such fantastic creations! Massive well done to the children and their grown up! So much fun and excitement retelling the second part of this fantastic traditional story! Y1's are becoming very expressive in their movements, and working well in pairs. Well done! So far in our Maths learning we have been comparing quantities and measures. We now know the meaning and understand words like - length, long, longest, tall, short, shortest, same, equal, heavy, heaviest. We have explored our learning in many different ways - Take a look! We had a great time painting and drawing ourselves for the welcome wall in the cloakroom. We thought about what we would like to be when we are grown up and then created a picture carefully, with the help of our friends. |
