The story focus for some of the learning week is After the Fall. As well as the story, we are also learning about the plant life cycle and created artwork in the style of Vicent Van Gogh. Here is some of the great learning happening so far this week!

There has been so much wonderful work from our amazing Year 1's. Here is just a snippet of some of the work we have the pleasure to see every day during the lock down!
Wow what a wonderful week we have had. The weather was amazing and you were still showing us what you are doing at home. I am so proud of all the work you are producing although there are a few of you, who I would love to hear from, whether this be on Seesaw or Dojo, as I know lots of you are learning at home using packs I have made for you or even books your families have got for you. You are all fabulous, keep working hard.
Special Mentions this week; 1DW Romeo for working so hard on his set 2 sounds and learning lots of new tricky words. John-Paul for starting to show his brilliant learning on Seesaw. I really hope we start seeing this daily. Well done you are working hard. 1JS Alfie J and Emily H - Both for excellent math's work learning all about, and showing a good understanding of using money. You have challenged yourselves to explore finding totals, paying and giving change. Well done! However a huge well done to you all! I have now caught up on all owed dojos and added some extra as a treat to say well done :-). As we enter week 5 of our summer term, I wanted to say again how much we miss you all. Next week we have a new story of the week which will be uploaded on Monday for you. As well as this, each day I will upload 4/5 activities - 3 of which will be RWI, Literacy and Maths. You can use Purple Mash and TTR whenever you want to, remember Purple Mash has so many things on there. I know some of you feel a little overwhelmed when there are too many activities sat in the box, so the new ones appear each day but they will not be archived (removed for at least 7 days), this allows time for others to do them if they haven't been on. I have picked out some lovely pictures from this week for you to enjoy just like I did a lot of them based on our lovely story of the week – Ruby’s Worry by Tom Percival. You made some amazing worry monsters and worry or happy boxes to put in your worries or what makes you happy. Well done all of you. See you soon x |
