Everyone who took part was credit to the school and showed outstanding behaviour throughout the visit. The year 5 children were fantastic role models for the year 2s and helped keep them safe and explained different things during the walk around the cemetery.
It was also fantastic to see so many parents and other adults from around Wombwell who gave their time to take part in the service with our pupils.
Children from each class made their own poppy wreath to lay as a sign of respect and to remember those who had passed away. Can you remember what the colours of the poppy stand for?
