We would like to thank the parents and families of the FS2 children for supporting us at our Autumn assembly. We videoed part of our rehearsal and thought you might enjoy watching it.
Can I please say a huge thank you to all the staff, children, parents/carers and parents group for such a fantastic half term. We have completed: sponsored events for charity, Macmillan coffee afternoon, Halloween discos, family fun sessions, Harvest Assemblies, class assemblies, parents evenings, trips, sporting events and most importantly settled into our new classes, superbly well. Wow! How busy have you all been? It has been an absolute pleasure to have seen all of these activities take place, the support from yourselves and the smiles on faces that these events have created. Thank you all; have a great half term and a well-deserved rest!
Looking forward to next half term adventures!
As part of Hate Crime Awareness Week, South Yorkshire Police are running a competition for schools for the best poem, rap or song that conveys the hurt caused by hate crimes.
For the year six Family Fun Session this morning, parents and pupils worked together in groups, using a range of resources, to produce fabulous entries for the competition. Below are some photos of the activity and some "tweets" from parents about the session. We look forward to sharing the finished products with you next week!
Year 2 have been out again at Cleethorpes. They all had a wonderful day, behaviour was exceptional and they learnt lots and lots about different habitats and will be doing work around what they have seen and experienced.
On Thursday 5th October, an amazing amount of children participated in our themed dinner - Lunch at the Movies. The children enjoyed hot dogs, wedges and beans followed by ice-cream and chocolate sauce whilst watching some mini movie clips with their teachers.
Ellie-Mai's ticket was drawn out of the raffle and she was the lucky winner of the cinema trip.
Thank you to every one who took part in our special movie themed lunch to celebrate World Teacher's Day.
All of our classes will be contributing to the school news blog regularly.
